Ali has had a successful External Relations career to Director level in Higher Education, schools and currently with the Department for Education. In 2008, she founded the University of Warwick Business School Mentoring programme, which came third in the UK Training Journal Awards for best Coaching and Mentoring programme.
Ali has coached individuals at Teach First and several Higher Education Institutions, including being a coach for the Oxford Brookes University coaching programme. She also works with individuals and groups, as well as delivering webinars on happiness, resilience and emotional wellbeing on behalf of Action for Happiness.

Alison is a qualified and accredited Coach. She holds a distinction in the Advanced Diploma in Mental Health and Wellbeing from Kingstown College, Dublin, which is accredited by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) and the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She also holds the Institute of Leadership and Management Level 5 in Coaching and Mentoring.

Alison is accredited at Practitioner level with the EMCC and is an Associate member, which means she abides by the EMCC Global Code of Ethics at all times.


Ali works with individuals and institutions to offer coaching to staff and students, with a particular focus on:

Ali can also offer training on taking a coaching style approach to supporting colleagues and students with their own mental health and wellbeing
