Lewis is an experienced Executive and Career Coach and Psychotherapeutic Counsellor.
He spent most of his 33 year career with BP progressing to become an Exploration and Appraisal Manager in the Exploration division. Throughout this period, he also actively pursued his other keen interest in developing people. Roles included leading BP’s geoscience recruitment in Europe, the early development of BP’s European graduates and more recently the global development and delivery of the company’s technical leadership programme.
In 2011, to develop his people facing skills more formally, Lewis started to train at the Institute of Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy in Hendon and qualified as psychotherapeutic counsellor in 2017.
Upon leaving BP in 2015 he set up his own private practice. Most recently he has worked as a coach and counsellor at several oil companies, at Eton College and several prestigious universities, (Imperial, Southampton, and the Helmholtz Institute in Germany).
